The Birth Alarm Classic is a trusted and easy-to-use system that alerts you when your mare starts foaling. It detects when she lies flat on her side—a typical position during labour—and sends an alert after 7.6 seconds, helping ensure you're present for the birth.
This version includes a transmitter, a fixed receiver with a 500-metre range, and an anti-roll girth for secure and comfortable attachment. The system doesn’t rely on a mobile phone, making it a dependable choice for around-the-clock monitoring. A sleep mode is available for mares that rest fully on their sides to reduce false alarms.
It also works as a health monitor: if your horse lies in a colic-related position for more than 3 seconds, the alarm will trigger automatically.
